 Japan on the Road 日本人2人アメリカ人2人、合計4人のボランティアが、オレゴン州、ワシントン州南西地域の小学校を訪問し、現地の子供達に、ひらがなの書き方や箸の使い方、また、スライドや紙芝居を通して、日本の小学生達の生活を紹介するプログラムです。当プログラムは無料で行われており、訪問は約２時間半です。 このプログラムは大変好評を呼んでおり、さらに多くの学校訪問を計画しております。多くの方に、このボランティア活動に参加して頂きたいと願っております。尚、車の運転や英語での会話をご心配される方もいらっしゃいますが、当方でコーディネートさせていただきますのでどうぞご安心してご参加ください。 年に2回(9月,1月)の研究会のほか、ボランティアご希望の方に随時、内容説明をさせて戴いております。 ご質問がございましたら、Sheryl Fuller (Tel: 503.552.8814, e-mail: sfuller@jaso.org) までご連絡ください。 ボランティアご希望の方は、ボランティア申込書に必要事項をご記入の上、JASOオフィスまでお送りください。 訪問校の先生たちからのメッセージ: The Japan on the Road program is a "highlight" in our third grade curriculum. It is something the kids will never forget.
